This is the movie that started it all. When Deep Throat was released in the summer of 1972 it ushered in the modern era of porn and things would never again be the same. Back then the only way to see this classic adult film was to visit a seedy theatre. A few years later VHS was introduced and a huge amount of it’s success was due to the fact that for the first time the public could view porn in the comfort of their own living room. (Sure, there was 8mm before that, but threading those reels… talk about a mood killer!) These days it’s easy to view or download the full length original version of Deep Throat as well as other famous adult films from the 70s and 80s such as Debbie Does Dallas and On Golden Blonde.
